Renovation pays off - ecologically and economically

Investing in energy efficiency not only saves up to 80 % of the final energy requirement, but can also increase the value of the property by up to 30 %. However, the approach is crucial: Sound planning, individual advice and the targeted use of state subsidies can make grants of up to 35% possible - and thus make many refurbishments economically viable in the first place.

CO₂ costs as an economic driver

A key topic of the talk was the dynamic development of CO₂ prices: Experts expect a significant increase from 2027 - a development that will increasingly make energy-efficient refurbishment an economic necessity. Legal requirements such as energy efficiency classes and CO₂ cost allocation are also increasing the pressure on owners to take action.
